Na Tutu Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

Na Tutu is comprised of grandparents, relatives, organizations and agencies concerned with issues of kinship care.

Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) defines kinship care as full time nurturing and protection of a child by relatives, godparents, or an adult who has a kinship bond with that child. This definition is designed to be inclusive and respectful of cultural values and ties of affection. It allows a child to grow to adulthood in a family environment.
